About the manufacturer:
Founded in 1982, and based in North America, Camoplast has for some time been a world leader in the market for argicultural tracks and you will certainly have seen tracked-tractors - Caterpillar and Claas being examples - fitted with their product as standard OEM issue. They also have a significant presence in the 'powersport' market for ATV tyres and Snowmobile tracks.
Building on its success in these markets, the company sought to add construction equipment rubber tracks to its capabilities. In 2008 it acquired the Korean manufacturer Taeryuk, followed very shortly afterwards by the much larger Solideal in 2010, which not only gave them access to a wider range of tracks and technologies, but also gave them access to industrial tyre technologies.
