Quick Hitches
Springlock Q-Hitch
|
|
| |
|
|
| |
The
SPRINGLOCK is a compact, mechanical Quick Hitch (QH), suitable
for use on all micro, mini and midi excavators from 0.75, to 8.0
tonnes operating weight.
Simple
operation, and extremely competitive pricing make this our most
popular QH for compact excavators.
Easily
fitted to the machine, this QH requires no pipe work or welding
and is supplied ready for immediate use.
This
QH picks up standard buckets via captive, 'dummy' bucket pins
(extra), using spring pressure to counter backlash and assist
in coupling. Springs are pressure tested up to a million cycles
for durability.
A simple,
sturdy Safety Pin holds the rear hook fast, ensuring the QH and
bucket remain coupled. This Safety Pin is held captive in the
QH to help avoid loss and discourage unsafe operation.
IMPORTANT! All
buckets must have correct pivot bracket measurements. Check with
our sales team for more details, or request our 'bucket fit details' sheet
when ordering. Not recommended for use with hydraulic breakers/hammers.

Using
the SPRINGLOCK:
The four colour pictures, left and below, show the simple actuation
of the SPRINGLOCK Quick Hitch; |
 |
 |
 |
 |
| 1.
Remove R-Clip from Safety Pin. |
2.
Retract Safety Pin (it cannot be fully removed from hitch
for safety reasons) to allow movement of rear pin hook. |
3.
With the bucket curled up, and the weight off the rear pin,
insert lever into rear hook and release from rear pin. |
4.
Curl bucket off hitch, and place onto ground. |
| Simply
reverse the process to pick up bucket. |

MultiLock Q-Hitch |
|
| |
|
|
| |
The MultiLock is
a robust and durable hydraulic quick hitch (QH) system,
with models suitable for all 360o excavators from 4 (or 230mm
bucket pin centres) to 50 tonnes operating weight.
This
QH is designed to enable the operator to swap from one attachment to another, safely, and with minimal effort, thus providing benefits
in terms of reduced down-time during changes, and enhanced productivity
and efficiency by better allowing the correct attachment to be
used for each task.
It
picks up standard buckets and attachments via captive, 'dummy' pins
(extra), using in-cab hydraulic actuation of the integral
hydraulic cylinder. The operator only need leave the cab to retract
and replace the Safety Pin.
|
|
| |
 |
Features:
- Manual Safety Pin, will prevent both 'accidental' release
from in- cab, and also release under hydraulic failure.
- Check valve, fitted to ram for added security
- Certified
lifting eye, tested to 50% of machine weight
- Full fitting kit, with instructions, for safe, easy installation
and use
Benefits:
- Fits all standard buckets & attachments, with correct
dimensions
- Fast safe attachment changes, help you work more efficiently
- Ensures correct attachment is always used
- Reduces wear on excavator pins, bushes and dipper arm,
by minimising dirt contamination and retaining grease.

Wedgetype Q-Hitch |
|
| |
|
|
| |
A cost
effective, mechanical alternative to the hydraulic MultiLock
system, the Wedge type quick hitch (QH) offers the benefits
of fast, easy bucket and attachment changes, without the complication
of hydraulics.
This
type of QH can be fitted to any 360o excavators from 10 to 50
tonnes operating weight, and picks up standard buckets, via captive,
or 'dummy' bucket pins (extra) in each bucket or attachment.
How
it works; The simple, effective mechanism uses a swinging
rear hook, which once engaged on the rear bucket pin, is secured
by a serrated wedge. A small key fits into the serrations, preventing
the wedge from moving, and the whole assembly is locked in place
by the main Safety Pin, which runs through the body of the QH,
from one side to the other.
