WELCOME TO DIGBITS
DIGBITS is set-up to serve
owners and operators of tracked excavators of all sizes, from 0.5
tonne micro diggers, through mini diggers and midi diggers, right up to 80 tonne excavators.
We aim to provide
customers with quality replacement spare parts and equipment at fair and competitive
prices. We are independant of any excavator manufacturer and are therefore
able
to offer a competitive and cost effective alternative to OEM dealers.
The DIGBITS business can be roughly divided into three spheres of activity:
EXCAVATOR BUCKETS & ATTACHMENTS:
Within this part of the business, we can supply equipment to suit
almost any make, model and size of excavator. In general, we tend
to deal with machines
from the small micro diggers (below 1000kg operating weight), through mini
excavators and midi excavators, up to 80 tonnes, but we have sucessfully
made buckets for mining
excavators as large as 140 tonnes.
- Standard Buckets; We have a well established reputation for providing
good quality 'ordinary' digging buckets to replace or add to your
excavator bucket
range.
- Specialist Buckets; We can advise and provide solutions for more
demanding work, such as XHD Rock Buckets, V-Ditching Buckets, Riddle
Buckets, Tilt
Ditchers and Clay Spades.
- Specialist Attachments; Our equipment can make your excavator more than just
a digging machine, helping you to work more efficiently. We offer
an enormous range
including Augers, Ripper Teeth, Land Clearance Rakes, Concrete Crushers,
Rock Grapples,
Sracp Grabs, Grip Tallons, Brushes, Block Grabs, Pallet Forks and
even Chain Trenchers.
- Quick Hitches; Along with attachments, we offer you robust and
cost effective couplers, in either mechanical or hydraulic actuation,
to
allow swift, safe
bucket and attachment changes.
EXCAVATOR SPARE PARTS:
This broad brush description covers such items as rubber tracks,
as well as front-end wear parts for machines, and can be sub-divided
into
three main
sub-categories:
- Rubber Tracks & Undercarriage
Parts; for micro, mini and
midi excavators/diggers, as well as other rubber tracked machines
such as
power barrows, tracked dumpers
and mini piling rigs.
- Digging Arm Front-End Parts; such as bucket pins, linkage
pins, bushes, bearings, oil and dust seals, and shim washers,
for most
popular sizes of
micro, mini,
midi and full-sized excavators up to 45 tonnes.
- General Spares and Consumables; lock bolts and clips, grease,
grease guns, re-fuelling pumps."
